The Conductor’s Coat

As part of my collection, The Traveler, this is a double-breasted coat that features princess seam paneling and leather patchwork. This coat takes inspiration from the uniforms of train conductors and crew. The leather detail on the sleeves is inspired by the interior upholstery from early Pullman train cars. The pieces of leather used in the patchwork were upcycled from scrap leather and hand-sewn onto the sleeves alongside beading.
